First ever ‘double’ sided beehive display!

Design of a european honeybee exhibition, with the main focus being the hive’s activities, designed for the bees to enter via a clear perspex tube through the glazed external wall to the museum, the (10,000) bee hive is also demountable for removal of honey periodically. The supporting exhibition displays many facets of the bee’s productive life starting with the egg, larvae and pupa cycle. (Photos by Museum Victoria)
